Winter Fun with Mollie

Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you some fun projects designer Mollie Deem created using the Winter Twig line from Little Yellow Bicycle.  Even though it’s been a mild winter here (which is fine with me) you may have gotten out and snapped some photos with the little snow we have had, or maybe playing a little catch up from last years winter photos.  Mollie has some super cute ideas here for you!!  With all of these fabulous creations in the store, this line is going fast so hurry before it’s all gone!

First up can I just say i’m totally loving this card!!

How about these wonderful layouts….such great designs on these!

And this mini album is super amazing!!

Thanks for all this fabulous inspiration Mollie!!

I also would like to thank everyone who sent in for the design team call. The new team will be contacted this week!

Yours Truly with Erin Delaney

Even though Valentine’s Day is officially over, I’m going to share some cute projects done by our design team member Erin DelaneyYours Truly from Echo Park  is a great line and I love what Erin has put together!

Using different sized heart shapes, Erin created this adorable Valentine guy. I love his bottle cap eyes!

Mr. Valentine is holding a heart!

Next, I am sharing a one page layout Erin created using the same line.

Erin misted this Maya Road chipboard word to accent her page:

Next, Erin used the same word to use as a mask on her layout! Love it!

Miss Caroline Collection from My Mind’s Eye

The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline, IL has the entire line of MME papers from the Miss Caroline collection! You are going to love these double sided goodies as much as I did! Great color combinations mix with pins, buttons, and label stickers to offer the designer endless combinations of woodlook textures, florals, and more. Here are a few layouts I created using the Miss Caroline collection:

This layout also includes a chipboard butterfly from Maya Road, Prima gem border, and stamped title using Paper Smooches stamps.

The gears are die cut using the Sizzix die, and a Tim Holtz heat embossed stamped heart image, Distress Ink, and  Tim Holtz tissue tape.

Finally, this layout includes a fluffy flower from Prima, date tage from Maya Road, Resin star from Melissa Frances, and velvet trim ribbon from Prima.

The Miss Caroline collection from My Mind’s Eye continues to keep my interest as I create cards using these double sided beauties! When they are combined with the label stickers, pins, buttons and adorable wooden butterflies you will end up with great looking cards that are sure to impress. Here are a few samples I’ve created using the Miss Caroline collection available now from The Scrapbooking Studio, Moline, IL

This 5″x5″ card boasts a Maya Road chipboard butterfly stained with Ranger distress stains.

The wooden butterfly from the Miss Caroline collection was stamped with a Wendy Vecchi stamp, then painted with Tattered Angel’s glimmer glam and finished around the edges with a brown distress ink MARKER (arriving at The Scrapbooking Studio very soon) and the butterfly has a clothes pin body.

Tim Holtz stamps embellish this barn board card along with a Miss Caroline button and some twine.

Ranger embossed card stock (inked of course) serves as the base for this baby congrats card. I’ve used a Maya Road chipboard butterfly that’s been shimmered with Tattered Angels.

Wendy Vecchi stamp serves as the greeting for the tag/pocket card. Maya Road chipboard butterfly and Stickles glitter gel for the body and accent. Maya Road Crystal gem for the tag topper.

Tim Holtz stamps & Distress Ink Markers  couple with the Miss Caroline papers to create this little Easter card.

Welcome baby with a sweet flower created with Prima flower, ric rac ribbon, and label stickers.

Miss Caroline papers combine with a shadow box, Melissa Frances frames, Maya Road gems, trinkets, wire flowers, chipboard flowers, resin flowers, and lots more (all available at The Scrapbooking Studio, Moline, IL) to create this inspirational box. I love all the options available to the designer when creating scenes in the shadow box. I used Ranger Distress stain to color the exterior of the box and the inside edges of the smaller boxes. I also used a Sizzix Distress border die to create the upper border.Bella Blvd. tiny alphas to create some of the phrases.

Sweet projects for Valentine’s Day

Hey there everyone, hope you have all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.  Today I wanted to share a couple of Valentine projects that I created with so of the yummy goodies at the store.

First up is a fun little Valentine’s card that I created using a 6×6 paper pad of Nikki Sivils Will He B The 1 line, along with some burlap buttons.

I also created this cute little tag, which is just perfect to tie onto any package!

On this tag I used the same paper line as on the card. Once again I whipped out the burlap buttons, added a couple of cute little stick pins and some fabulous ribbon from Maya Road.

I hope you have all had a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by!

A Little More Love!

Happy Saturday from Cindy!!   Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

I wanted to share a few layouts I created with the new “Yours Truly” line from Echo Park.  I usually don’t gravitate to Valentines themed paper lines, but this one really caught my eye!  I love a red and black combo anytime, but throw in some pink…… well, here’s what it inspired me to create!

this first layout is of my parents on their wedding day, just over 61 years ago:)

They made such a cute couple:)

This line was perfect for this silly picture I took of Molly just before she left for her High School Graduation ceremony.  Crazy girl!!

But I love this picture and the quote sticker from the sticker sheet was perfect for the title, don’t you think???

Continuing with graduation, I took a couple of Molly’s graduation pictures wallets and made a framed collage.

And then, I still had lots left to create a card.  This line goes a long way with your creating!  And The Scrapbooking Studio has it all!!

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend.  Happy scrapping!!

Love Notes with Michelle Woith

Hi all,

Hope this finds everyone doing well!  As we near Valentine’s Day, I’m happy to share some awesome creations by design team member, Michelle Woith.   Michelle used Bo Bunny’s Smoochable line to adorn this notebook cover:

I heart the banners going across the page, as well as how Michelle used Glossy Accents to make the hearts pop.

Michelle also made this cute Valentine’s Day card with the same line, which carries many coordinating embellishments!

Michelle also made these two one-page layouts with My Mind’s Eye’s Fun Craft line.  This line has some great embellishments!

Love Is In The Air

Hey there everyone Stacy here to share a couple of super fabulous Valentine projects with you.  Amazing designer Janet Ball knocked my socks off with these!!  So up first is a super cute layout and card using My Mind’s Eye Love Me collection. Loving the banner across the top of this card.

Now how about this cute layout!!  I love the added covered Maya Road heart shape in the upper left corner on this.

Ok now just wait until you see these beautiful projects. I LOVE this hanging ball. Janet covered this ball with the beautiful white Maya Road ribbon, then used stick pins to hold the ribbon on, and oh my the hanging beads are just yummy!!

Now another cool home decor project Janet created….well let’s just say Janet can come and decorate my home anytime!!

You can grab all of the fabulous products that Janet used at the store. Way to rock these projects Janet!!

Valentine’s is just around the corner…

and we have everything you need to create adorable Valentine’s this year! Stop by the store to pick up your papers, embellishments, ribbons, and lots more.

Look what Shelly Maxwell has created for you….

Create this card using Pebbles papers, Twist Ties, Self-Adhesive buttons, Copic markers, Border punches, and Accucut die (the base of the card)

Create this card using Pebbles papers, Twist Ties, Sizzix Hearts-A-Plenty (3-D pop up die), Sizzix Flowers (3-D #2), corner punches, stamps, ribbons, a small white bag, Sizzix embossing folders

Photo

Create this adorable pop up heart using the Sizzix Hearts-A-Plenty (3-D pop-up) die currently available at the store

Step-by-Step Quickie: Die cut a large flower (or trace a large flower and fussy cut) and adhered it to the top flap of the tri-fold A2 size card (use a 12×12 strip of paper to do this). Second, cut a mat for the front of the card and adhere it to the card front. The tri-fold flap should come down over the mat/card front. Third, I used the 1/4″ border strip from the bottom of the 12×12 Pebbles paper to create the belly band that holds the flap in place. Finally, I punched a scalloped heart (that I stamped and colored) and attached it along with serveral smaller punched hearts to the band. Ta-da! Adorable Valentine that will impress your friends. Don’t forget to add your Pebbles heart-shaped self-adhesive buttons for increased drama & WOW factor!

This 6×6 Valentine was created using Accucut dies, heart-shaped punches and the Sizzix Hearts-A-Plenty (3-D pop up) die, stamps, ribbons, Tim Holtz label die with “Love” movers & shapers die cut from the center.

Adorable nostalgic Valentine greeting stamped with Ice Spruced Distress Ink and colored with Copic markers and atyou Spica Glitter pens.

Front of the card close up: notice the dimension the twist ties add (they are wired and bendable (super cool!), the gorgeous white roses, and layered hearts just ooze LOVE!

My Mind’s Eye Love Me with Elaine McManus

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying this warm weather! Hard to believe it’s February!  To get you into the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing some cute creations by Elaine McManus.   Elaine used My Mind’s Eye Love Me line, which is one of my favorites! I absolutely love the colors!

Elaine created this cute treat box! Perfect for a teacher’s gift or to give to a special someone!

In this layout, Elaine incorporated the many sticker embellishments and borders to accentuate her photo. I also love the Maya Road chipboard too!

Here is a card Elaine made using the same line. I love the red tulle flower and heart pins!

Using Authentique’s Blissful  line, Elaine created this one page layout.  If you haven’t checked out Authentique’s paper lines, you must!

I love how Elaine layered her patterned paper, as well as used Studio Calico’s wooden houses!
